Ruby Avenue / Terms & Conditions

The rules. Without the theatre.

These terms explain what happens when you use Ruby Avenue, place an order, make a payment, change your mind or discover that a parcel has developed ambitions of its own.

Products & Orders

What you are actually buying.

Product images, colourways and orders should be clear before checkout rather than becoming an elaborate post-purchase surprise.

01 / Product Images

As accurate as possible.

Images are intended to represent garments and artwork accurately. Screens, garment sizes, fabric texture and ordinary production tolerances may cause minor differences.

02 / Colourways

Different shirt. Different treatment.

Selected colourways may use adjusted artwork so contrast, texture and important details remain clear across dark and light garments.

03 / Availability

Sometimes things run out.

Colours, sizes or garment styles can become unavailable. If this affects an order, Ruby Avenue will contact you about an alternative or refund.

Using Ruby Avenue

The practical rules.

Most of this is ordinary common sense, but websites apparently prefer it written down.

01 / Website Use

Keep it sensible.

Lawful use

You may use this website for lawful browsing and purchasing purposes. You must not deliberately damage, disrupt or misuse the site, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious software or interfere with other users.

Website availability

The website may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical problems or circumstances outside Ruby Avenue’s reasonable control.

Accuracy

Reasonable care is taken to keep product information, availability, prices and site content accurate. Where a material mistake is identified, Ruby Avenue may correct it and contact you before proceeding with an affected order.

02 / Placing An Order

Check it before you click it.

Order details

Before completing checkout, please check the product, colour, size, quantity, email address and delivery address carefully.

Incorrect information can delay an order or send it somewhere considerably less useful.

Confirmation

After placing an order, you should receive confirmation showing the products ordered, selected variations, delivery details and amount paid.

Acceptance

An order is accepted when Ruby Avenue accepts it for fulfilment. If an order cannot be fulfilled because of an availability problem, obvious pricing error, suspected fraud, incomplete information or another genuine issue, it may be cancelled and any payment already taken will be refunded.

03 / Promotions

Discounts without interpretive dance.

Promotional codes and offers may have eligibility rules, expiry dates, minimum spends or product exclusions.

Unless stated otherwise, discount codes cannot be exchanged for cash or applied retrospectively to an order that has already been completed.

Ruby Avenue may amend or withdraw a promotion where reasonably necessary, provided this does not affect an order already validly completed using that promotion.

Prices & Payment

No hidden checkout surprises.

Product prices and any applicable delivery charges are displayed before you complete checkout.

Available payment methods are shown at checkout and may be processed securely by third-party payment providers or digital-wallet services. Those providers may also apply their own terms and privacy policies.

Ruby Avenue does not directly store complete payment-card details.

If an obvious pricing error occurs, Ruby Avenue may cancel the affected order and refund any amount already paid.

What you see
before payment
is what matters.

Production & Delivery

Designed first. Printed when ordered.

The artwork stays Ruby Avenue. The fulfilment route may depend on the product, availability and destination.

04 / Production

Made after you order.

Most Ruby Avenue clothing is produced after an order is placed rather than held as large quantities of pre-printed stock.

Depending on the product, availability and destination, an order may be produced directly by Ruby Avenue in Northern Ireland or through a trusted production partner closer to the customer.

The fulfilment location can change. The design does not.

Production usually takes around 2–5 business days before dispatch. This may vary during unusually busy periods or because of circumstances outside normal control.

05 / Delivery

Then the courier gets involved.

  • UK delivery is free.
  • International delivery is £3.49 for orders under £50.
  • International delivery is free on orders of £50 or more.
  • Tracking is provided where the selected delivery service includes it.

Delivery estimates are supplied in good faith but are not guaranteed unless specifically stated.

Couriers, customs, weather, seasonal demand, incorrect delivery information and other circumstances outside Ruby Avenue’s reasonable control may affect delivery.

06 / International Orders

Occasionally borders have opinions.

International customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information and for checking any local import requirements that may apply.

Where customs duties, import taxes or handling charges are imposed by the destination country, these are normally the customer’s responsibility unless explicitly stated otherwise at checkout.

Customs processing may delay delivery and remains outside Ruby Avenue’s direct control.

Cancellations & Returns

Changed your mind?

Standard products, personalised products and faulty products are not all treated in exactly the same way.

07 / Standard Products

Eligible change-of-mind returns.

For an eligible standard Ruby Avenue product purchased online, you may contact Ruby Avenue within 14 days of receiving the order to say that you wish to cancel or return it.

Ruby Avenue’s current returns policy allows eligible standard items to be returned within 30 days of delivery, provided they are unworn, unwashed and in resaleable condition.

Please contact Ruby Avenue before returning anything so the return can be identified and handled correctly.

Unless the item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or otherwise covered by your statutory rights, the cost of returning a change-of-mind item is normally the customer’s responsibility.

08 / Personalised Items

Made specifically for you.

Products made specifically to your individual specification, personalised for you or specially altered may not carry the same change-of-mind cancellation rights.

Any relevant restriction will be explained where it applies.

A standard Ruby Avenue design does not automatically become non-returnable merely because it was produced after the order was placed.

09 / Problems

Faulty, damaged or incorrect.

If an order arrives faulty, damaged, incorrect or materially different from its description, contact Ruby Avenue as soon as reasonably possible with the order number and suitable photographs where relevant.

Your statutory rights relating to faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods are not affected by these terms.

Ownership & Responsibility

The final formalities.

Artwork belongs somewhere, legal rights still apply, and the universe occasionally interferes with delivery vans.

10 / Intellectual Property

The artwork belongs somewhere.

Ruby Avenue branding, original artwork, product imagery, written content and other original website material are owned by or licensed to Ruby Avenue unless stated otherwise.

You may not reproduce, sell, distribute or commercially exploit that material without appropriate permission.

References to public-domain literature, mythology, historical material or other source inspiration do not transfer ownership of Ruby Avenue’s original artistic interpretation or presentation.

11 / Liability

The sensible legal bit.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Subject to applicable law, Ruby Avenue is not responsible for losses that could not reasonably have been foreseen when the contract was formed, or for delays and failures genuinely caused by circumstances outside reasonable control.

12 / Changes & Law

Policies occasionally evolve.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated where necessary to reflect changes to the website, business practices or applicable law.

The version applying to an order will normally be the version in force when that order was placed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Northern Ireland together with applicable UK consumer-protection law.

Severability

If part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply where legally possible.
