About Ruby Avenue

It started with designs for my daughter Ruby. Then it got a bit out of hand.

Ruby Avenue is a Northern Ireland graphic apparel brand making bold t-shirts and hoodies inspired by horror, myth, manga, monsters, metal and street art.

It started small, got louder, and now mostly revolves around making graphic clothing that looks better than the usual generic stuff. A noble cause, depending on how seriously you take t-shirts.

How It Started

Named after Ruby. Built because most of the alternatives were boring.

Ruby Avenue began with my daughter, Ruby. I wanted to make designs that felt more personal than the same tired prints you see everywhere else, so I started making pieces myself and seeing where it went from there.

What started as making things for my girls turned into making designs for myself, then friends, then eventually a full brand. Ruby Avenue stuck because it was the name that started it all, and because it sounded a lot better than “middle-aged man making strange graphic tees in his spare time.”

What Ruby Avenue Makes

Graphic tees and hoodies with a darker edge.

The focus is simple: stronger artwork, cleaner layouts, and designs that actually look like someone cared when they made them.

Some pieces are dark and heavy. Some are more colourful. Some lean into horror, monsters, myth, manga or old paperback energy. The common thread is bold graphic clothing, not quiet little basics pretending to be a personality.

What It Is Not

No fake luxury speech. No motivational quotes. No filler.

Ruby Avenue is not trying to be a high-fashion lecture or a brand manifesto written by someone who says “elevated essentials” with a straight face.

It is a straightforward idea: make clothes with better graphics, keep the product clear, and avoid sounding like a committee invented it in a glass office.

The Design Direction

Horror, myth, manga, monsters and the darker end of the shelf.

A lot of the designs come from the stuff I actually like: fantasy worlds, old myths, monsters, dragons, anime, games, horror covers, metal artwork and anything with enough attitude to avoid looking flat and forgettable.

That mix is what gives Ruby Avenue its look. Some pieces are more mythological. Some lean into manga-style energy. Some are just graphic, moody and slightly suspicious. The goal is bold artwork people actually want to wear, not lore homework.

Made To Order

Designed by Ruby Avenue. Produced when you order.

Ruby Avenue items are made to order, which means each piece is produced after the order comes in rather than pulled from a giant pile of stock pretending to be useful.

Some orders are produced and packed by Ruby Avenue in Northern Ireland. Selected orders may be produced by trusted production partners closer to the customer, especially for USA and rest-of-world delivery. That keeps shipping more practical without turning the whole thing into a geography lesson.

The important bit: the artwork is designed by Ruby Avenue, the products are made to order, and the aim is to keep the clothing clear, wearable and better than boring.

Questions?

If you need a hand, ask.

If you are not sure about sizing, shipping, or anything else, head to the contact page and get in touch. That is usually more effective than guessing and hoping the hoodie reads minds.
