This page exists to stop the usual guessing, hoping, and pretending it will probably be grand. Compare the measurements below with something you already own and actually like the fit of.
Ruby Avenue items are made to order, so checking the size first is a much better plan than arguing with a t-shirt later.
Good to know: measurements can vary slightly by supplier and production batch. If a product listing includes its own size guide image, use that product-specific guide first.

Ruby Avenue t-shirts use a classic unisex fit. For a regular fit, choose your usual size. For a looser fit, size up.

How To Measure
Three steps. Nothing dramatic.
Lay it flat
Use a t-shirt or hoodie you already own and actually like the fit of. Put it on a flat surface and smooth it out.
Measure across
Measure straight across the chest about 2cm below the arms. Do not measure around the whole garment like you are wrapping a parcel.
Compare properly
Compare your garment measurements with the table. Guessing works occasionally. Measuring works more often.

Between Sizes
Think about how you actually wear your clothes. If you like extra room, go up. If not, compare measurements instead of gambling on optimism.
Good To Know
Supplier measurements may vary by +/- 2.5cm / 1 inch. That is normal. Chaos is optional.
