Ruby Avenue Size Guide
Get the size right the first time.
This page exists to stop the usual guessing, hoping, and pretending it will probably be grand. Compare the measurements below with something you already own and actually like the fit of.
T-shirts are more straightforward. Hoodies have a roomier body and a longer length. So if you usually pick a size based on vibes alone, this is the part worth reading first.
T-Shirts
T-Shirt Size Guide
Ruby Avenue t-shirts are a regular fit with a standard everyday shape. Nothing strange going on here. This is the easier one to judge, especially if you compare it to a t-shirt you already wear a lot.
Half chest is measured straight across from armpit to armpit. Length is measured from the highest point of the shoulder down to the hem.
| Size | Half Chest (cm) | Length (cm) | Chest To Fit (in) |
|---|---|---|---|
| S | 46 | 70 | 34–36 |
| M | 51 | 73 | 38–40 |
| L | 56 | 76.5 | 42–44 |
| XL | 61 | 79 | 46–48 |
| 2XL | 66 | 81.5 | 50–52 |
Usual fit: regular and straightforward. If you like a normal everyday tee, this is the simpler option.
If you want it looser: size up. If you want it neat, compare the measurements properly and save yourself the guessing later.
Hoodies
Hoodie Size Guide
Ruby Avenue hoodies are built roomier through the body and longer through the length than a more standard pullover. Good if you like a relaxed fit. Less ideal if you want something tight and tidy and then act offended when it is not.
Same measuring method here, just on a hoodie that is meant to wear bigger. So yes, the numbers are supposed to look larger. That is the point.
| Size | Half Chest (cm) | Length (cm) | Chest To Fit (in) |
|---|---|---|---|
| S | 64.5 | 78.3 | 34–36 |
| M | 67 | 79.5 | 38 |
| L | 70 | 81 | 40–42 |
| XL | 73 | 82.5 | 44–46 |
| 2XL | 77 | 84.5 | 48–50 |
Usual fit: roomier through the body with a longer length. Better if you like a more relaxed shape.
If you want a neater fit: do not guess. Compare the half chest properly, because this hoodie is meant to wear bigger than a standard pullover.
How To Measure
Three steps. Nothing dramatic.
Lay it flat
Use a t-shirt or hoodie you already own and actually like the fit of. Put it on a flat surface and smooth it out.
Measure half chest
Go straight across from one armpit to the other. Do not measure around the whole garment like you are wrapping a parcel.
Measure length
Measure from the highest point of the shoulder down to the hem. Compare that to the table and make your decision like a functioning adult.
Fit Advice
The short version.
T-Shirts
More standard fit. Usually the safer choice if you want something simple and everyday without overthinking it.
Hoodies
Roomier and longer. Better if you like a relaxed fit. Worth checking properly if you usually prefer something neater.
Between Sizes
Think about how you actually wear your clothes. If you like extra room, go up. If not, compare measurements instead of gambling on optimism.
Good To Know
Measurements are approximate and a small manufacturing tolerance can apply. That is normal. Chaos is optional.
Still Not Sure?
Ask before you order.
If you are stuck between sizes, get in touch before ordering and include the measurements of something you already own. It is a much better plan than ordering blind and starting an argument with the hoodie afterwards.
